Just left a board meeting. 44 CBJ's so far! All spots are on level near turn in, on pavement (good thing with April rain potential and no hill to climb). Same great staff as last year, unique trophies, over $5k in prize money. Grocery store, great bakery and coffee house all within a couple blocks, and 2 happenin' bars close by!

If I remember correctly, the winner of the Royal from the previous year bought lunch. I don't think we should break tradition. 8-)

That was the AR champ from two years previous. You'll have to wait until next year, I guess.

Yes, the porta potty lock is a must. And York must also freeze all of his contest meat.

So last year the big topic was "T-Baggin". Wonder what high-brow topic of conversation KC Can Crew will delight us with this year? Will Todd's chicken take flight again? Will Todd be awash in a sea of Pastel Ribbons again? Will Jeff's brisket be "too tender"? Hmmm.......

No Greg, I have an enclosed catering rig that will double as my comp rig. It won't take anything to get it comp ready. Now HD ready is a different story!

That's not to say the old trailer you've seen doesn't need work. It does! Wanna buy it?

GREAT CONTEST - had a blast last year. I know that it is in a different place thn last year. Last year you could roll down the parking lot.

I would have to say it was the best crew at any contest I have ever been to. They were nice, helpful and worked their tail off. Plus where else are you going to get to watch drunks trying to get into a locked porta-poty!

The trophies are funny as well - after putting 5 layers of stuff on it, we have taken with us to every contest.

Pork Pistols will be there. It was awesome last year.

Jeff, two questions.

1) any chance you could arrange the Brethren mostly together?
2) haven't heard anything about water. last year we were on the street and a guy with the store let us hook up to his water hose (yes we asked first!). what's the water situation. would be unpleasant for us simpletons without having some water hookups.

Looking forward to it!!!

It was great to see all the Brethren. I had a great time and they did a great job with the contest again.
