Cooking a bunch of dead pig parts today--but 1st gotta decide what cooker to use

too much snow for the wsm's or SYC--so figure its time for the BWS toi come out of hiding

The spares are already eaten--well some are the rest will be saved for lunch.

Figger the butts will be ready in an hour or so--will wrap and freeze(outside)whole to serve at a fundraiser for local EMS service next friday

Hope the whiskey doesn't kick in for another hr or so---or things will get tough!!

Drank enuf at bar stool races this afternoon

see ya

I have a great tool for cooking in t he winter. It's called my stove. I miss the q, but it gives me a chance to do all kinds of neat stuff that I put off during the summer. Like parmesan crusted swordfish and other stuff that can be only done in a skillet. Take some time to get to know your cookbooks, or go to the bookstore and get a new cookbook. Maybe learn to cook something really fancy for the old lady.

Anybody ever do any baking? Winter is obviously perfect for that. Get a book on pastries. Make some sausage. Bake some bread.

Just my .02 worth

Frikkin great. Business takes me to the frikkin arctic Milwaukee next week. I haven't even seen any snow yet this year. Any good BBQ recommendations for up there? I've tried Brew City and Speed Queen.

Last time I was up there I brought home a bushel of summer sausage and couple wheels of cheese. Throwed it in a big duffel with a bunch of network cable and watched the airport luggage scanner people freak out. Hey, that Jerry's Old Towne Inn sounds interesting too, appreciate the info.

Used to bake a bunch--at least 2 loaves of bread a week--pies, cakes etc but damn no one would clean up the kitchen when I was done<LOL>
outside clean up is sure a heck of alot easier<BFG>

In the process of new house **** now, when there is a decent kitchen again may migrate inside a little bit more

Frikkin great. I've tried Brew City and Speed Queen.

Youve already eaten at the best(Speed Queen)--haven't tried anything else that even compares--imo of course

If you are there on a Friday nite hit the Serb Hall for fish--pretty darn good

Or ya can head about 3hrs north of Milw and we can cook something
