The power of smoke

This happened yesterday when I did a beer run in the middle of smoking

I was standing in the checkout line with a 30-pack of Ice House in hand me totally reeking with smoke and more than a few black grease stains from my Bandera and the cashier said "has someone been standing around a camp fire?" A guy in back of me said "Hell no, it smells way better than that." So I said "Ok it's me. I've been smoking the Christmas turkey all day along with some ducks and pork loins. " A couple of other customers said they were gonna follow me home. I warned them there was several hours left to go before it would be done and everything was already spoken for.


Just thought I'd share that. If anyone cares to comment lets keep it out of the woodpile. Its Christmas afterall.

I offset a spiral sliced ham in Pa Kettle today

I been walkinf around with apple smoke in my shirt all day.

It's better than cologne.

If you could bottle the sweet blue smoke I'd wear it as cologne. People really like the smell of good Q smoke.

i did 6 french racks of lamb with apple & pecan.. and yup.... I reak.... I usually like itbut sittin around for christmas dinner with guest with smoke rings comin off the head and grease stains warrented a shower.

If you werent italian, you wouldnt have needed a shower. You forgeot to mention you spent Xmas eve plowing thoriugh mozerrella, sausage, and meat balls.

That stink aint smoke. Its the munkus from your crack.

Or as my kids would say... "Dad, that guy smells like ass"

Heheheh....reminds me of when I was in Columbus, MS doing a competition. Had been out at the pit most of the day and finally went to go get some sleep at one of the local hotels. I walked up to the counter and noticed the little clerk there kept backing away from me. I thought it was just because I was a little drunk but when I woke up, I went over to the corner where I pitched my clothes and damn they reeked!!
