with the cord that it has, will you be able to put it inside the Bandera? it would be nice if it will work in there.

I'm thinking the motor should go on the outside. Some minor modifications would need to be made to the Bandera smoke chamber for this. Specifically, 2 holes and mount the motor. FYI: there was quite an extensive thread on this subject a few weeks ago. I think Big Al won the debate.

Yes I bought one. It cost 1 cent and $6 to ship. As far as the benefits of a rotisserie in a smoker, there is already an extensive thread on that from a few weeks ago. Just go back a page or two in this forum and you will find it.

Well Brethren, I bought a couple of these from ebay links above. Kinda disapointed because the instructions say for indoor use only and for meat that weighs 4lb max. The motor housing is plastic. :( They are designed to be used over an electric indoor roasting pan, looks like a ok design for that type set up. The only good news is that the shaft is the right length to fit inside the Bandera and I will use it with my old motor.

Yeah Al, the motor is crap. A couple more good points though:
1. you got a set of 4-prong forks
2. The stand should come in handy balancing the meat on the spit.
