Slow down there Kimo Sabi.

You just work on getting a chicken breast doen right (with Southern Flavor) before you go killing mass quantities of animals to fill that thing.

I just e-mailed the guy. I think the price is too high - he appears to be trying to recover his freight costs on the original purchase. The unit is fundamentally lke the BYC, short the trailer and proprane. My sister-in-law lives in La Jolla, not far from San Diego. Wonder if she would store it for me.

My wife is leaving town this weekend and I have Carte Blanche HEHEHEHEHEHE

Enough room in Maryland for it ?

I could find room but ain't paying his freight on the original purchase, plus more freight to get it here. I'm thinking I get it to my sister-in-laws, then somehow to Craigster's how (thanks Craig), then somehow to Larry G's house (thanks Larry), then to one of my future neighbor's in NoCal (thanks neighbor).

TK, I'll pick it up for you. Do you think a Honda Prelude could tow that sucker?

Actually I have a 79 Ford Ranchero that probably could do the trick.

How much is it new from Klose? What price do you guys think would be a good deal?

I may have to buy it...

There never seems to be any bumpers on the back of these? What kind of damage do you think the firebox would have if someone rear ended you?

I've not seen too many trailers with bumpers :D Even the "bumper" on my RV trailer is pretty useless -- boat trailers don't have bumpers, yard maintenance trailers don't have bumpers, etc.

It'd have to be one stupid SOB to run into a cooker. Just make sure your lights work and the insurance for the trailer is up to date.

Based on what I saw at Phil's that firebox is built much better than the farking bumpers you get these days unless it's made from 1 1/2" pipe.

I was hoping Phil could be of more help on the price...

I'd like to see the front end of the vehicle that smashes into the 1/2" firebox.

When growing up in Illnois lot of the oil field hands and farmers would use 1 1/2" 2" pipe for bumpers to persuade people not to ride thier ass. I need that "bumper mod" down here in Plano. They also had a 6" or 8" vice mounted on the back bumper as well. Talk about farking up a car.

This is why I leave the reciever-hitch on my truck. You can ride my ass, but It'll cost you your radiator

Know what you mean -- my wife got hit the other day -- no damage to the Explorer but he guy that hit her had a 2 inch square molded into his bumper from the receiver -- kinda wish I'd had the hitch in! :D

Besides all that, you would have to pick out all the plastic, and think of how long it woul take to reseason the the thing to get rid of all that motor oil and gas.
