For those of you with gas grills, check your model and make sure your safe!

"Hazard: Some of these regulators were assembled with an undersized seat disc that could become dislodged and leak propane gas. Propane gas is highly flammable and could ignite causing a fire or explosion. Consumers should immediately close the valve on the service cylinder if LP-Gas leakage is detected."

Manufactured in: The grills and the regulators were manufactured in the USA.

It figures. Mine is about 4 years old.

I like that tip that the gas should be turned off if a leak is detected. I never would have thought of that. I usually check for leaks with a Bic lighter.

Good catch John.

My gas grill is so old it's on its third rebuild -- only the cast aluminum case and front knobs are original -- the frame/cart is rusted away and I'm getting ready to build a new base for it.

Besides, who needs eyebrows anyway!! :D

The only "gas" I have to worry about comes out the other end! I have to watch out for people who sneek up behind my with lighters!
