David,
What is your cost for a jar of the jelly locally?
On the net, it's 6$ a pop, plus shipping. No discount for case orders either.
Saw it is sold retail at quite a few stores.
Just wondering what our options are before calling them and trying to get a wholesale rates on a few cases.
Thanks
One option is to make your own

I don't remember. I buy it at the local farmers market, since it is closer to me than where they are selling it retail. 6 bucks sounds about right though. I'll check at the farmers market on Saturday.
I think I sent you guys the Holy-Habanero? That was one of 3 jars I bought this summer. I'm still working on my jar of Rasberry-chipotle, before I open up my jar of smoking-margarita (gonna try that on some chicken next time I have one thawed out).

Well the jar (don't recall which, but Neil took a picture) was gone in 5 or 6 slabs or ribs. Put on right as you foil them.
I guess a buck a slab + shipping is worth it on special occasions.
The yellow jackets loved that stuff too.

Probably a bunch of outfits out there who make this stuff. You can probably even buy quart bottles of it. Ain't got the time right now from being gone (in more ways than one) for a week, but I betcha a web search for hab jelly will render a lot of hits.

It did, and all of the places are a little pricey, sold in gourmet shops and such.
Started hitting the stores. Going to a gourmet grocer at lunch today.
And after typing to Mark, might just start my own Habs in January.

ChiBill - this one looks right on and simple to boot. I'll give it a try.

just a note the recipie... I bet you could use any kind of chili or mix of chili's to make this jelly... I have an interesting variety of chilis in my garden this year... might make "hodge podge" jelly... the idea at least sounds good...

Just stopped at the Farmer Market for lunch and picked up a jar of Hot Pepper Jelly.
It's orangy and clear, like the Hab jelly we had from Portland.
Gonna try it this weekend. If it's similar, gonna go back next Tuesday and pick up the other 3 jars he had, to last me the winter.
