I will be in that area helping a friends team cook that weekend, and was wondering if any brethern will be there.

Looking for a local team that can introduce us around, suggest places to see etc. Send me a PM if you live in that area, or are familliar with Decatur and would like to help out a brethern making the 2200 mile trip.

Wow! I'm looking forward to meeting you and those guys. They are coming all the way from California to cook Decatur, AL? Are they driving and bringing their WSM's with them? I have two at home they can borrow if they need to.

Dang...wish I had found out a month or so ago that it will be on. I used to live in Decatur. I left way back in '92 well before I found my BBQ obsession.
I would have loved to be able to schedule a visit with a competition to wander around as well.
