I just had a great lunch at a little 'Q joint in Dunedin, FL. Eli's is only open Fri & Sat 11-6 -- has pork, beef, ribs, chicken all cooked in a great bit pit named Big Foot over oak.
I just wish like heck I could have a place like Eli's -- I'd have to be open more days but man he cooks some good food. The wife and I had pork and beef. Both were pulled/chopped. Good slaw and beans, too.
Eli does stucco and tile work for his "day work"-- the man is wasting his talents -- but then he's doing what he likes, when he likes. We got there right at 12/noon and there was a line. I'll get some pics as soon as my digital camera shows up from ebay.
