I managed to get mouths to feed.!!!

A friends birthday today, invited him over for "BBQ of choice" for a present. They accepted enthusiactally, which considering it was a spur the moment invite, and its his birthday, that was pretty cool. The request was for my Ribs and chile.

So todays menu is
6 Racks of BB's... Hogs Breath style.
Phils famous chile.... yes "guess what in it". :)
Sea scallops rolled in southern flavor cajun and wrapped in bacon.
Shrimp Bombs dont the right way. :)
and some turds. puppy & buffalo.

Feel better..aint no BBQ withdrawls goin on today.

The tequilla monster has taken residence in my skull. I slept most of the day, and it hurts to type. So bear with me.

I made Scallops and shrimp. Coated with Southern flavor Cajun, wrapped in bacon and skewered. Grill em over hickory... about 15-20 minutes. I served them over a bed of baby greens, with fresh tomatoes and basil... all just picked. Made some bacon strips witht eh skewers to chop and add to the greens. AWESOME!!! Been making that all week and ya just cant get tired of it. Gonna try this week with fresh yellowfin and seabass.

The turds we were just poppoin like candy... also jsut thew some sweet peppers in the klose with the ribs. jsut laid the peppers on top of the ribs while they were cookin.

Ribs were as usual.... think i'm ribbed out for now. Goinna back off until Bash II. thats why we been doin lots of fish later.

the party however... HOLY Sh*T!!
To give a sample.
One guest did a couple of face plants on my deck... Bill can explain this he seems to rememebr more than I do.
We have pics of 2 of the wifes comparing thighs and thongs.
4 bottles of tequilla gone, via margaritas
My Wrangler was gone this morning, one of the guests decided they wanted to take my car... I woke up to a Honda Acord in my driveway, missing my wrangle.
i had to carry one of the ladies, a la firemans carry, to her car... she only woke up briefly when her head hit the fence as we went thru the gate. Hmmmm wheres her hubby you ask.?.. he was watchin.
We called her this morning.. she was sleeping on the bathroom floor.

each time i looked up, there was someone else in the hot tub, then the pool, then the hot tub, then the pool.....
Someone mentioned something about the girsl were swappin bathing suits.

im sure theres more... i do remember tryin to talk to sharon after everyone left around 2AM(according to Bill). I Was laughin so hard, couldnt speak, couldnt breath and had to sit down before i wet my shorts.

Speaking of vidoe tapes.... If you guys have some VHS tapes your BBQ'ing, let me know if you would like them converted to DVD. The DVD's are nice because you can instantly fast forward to the good parts with the dvd menus.

Also someone should think about bringing one to the bash 2. I would bring mine but I will be in Texas then. I think video footage from a bash would be a riot!

Yeah, you should have taped that for future considerations. Probably be good evidence at trials. And all this was in mixed company -- I can't (actually, I can!) imagine what Bash II will be like with all dudes.

I can't wait!! I'm going to make an effort to stay sober just to be able to remember everything. Hey, I'm one of those weird cases that actually remembers the '60s. :D

I had the video camera out at Bash II.. but we were all to busy partying.... lucky we got digital stills. But the web cam was up. Bash II will have 2 webcams going, and if possible, i'll also set up a HQ video feed.
