This thing claims to be made of 12-gauge - shipping at 220 Lbs.
What are the Bandera's?
Cheers,
PJ
Check out www.Northerntool.com item 1686452. Kinda cheesy fro the discription -- they also list a lot of other Brinkmann products and other in the similar items list.

damn the machine i just want the "accessories"
Yeah, all the accessories caught my eye.
Someone was asking how to hang ribs and brisket -- well the hooks are the way you do it.
Maybe they could check the Brinkmann site/catalog and buy the hooks??
Just a thought

yep that was me and i've checked the brinkmann site but they dont have anything about the "bandera" copy or it's accesiories
anyway
dont the ribs fall off the hooks when they start to get tender ?
the last ribs i cooked just fell apart i did the 3-4 method it was susposed to be the 3-2-1 but they jumped in the bandera befor i ment them too ?
so they were just bits and pieces when i unwrapped them

The hooks in the brinkman system for ribs is a much better design than the bandera wobblers. and the rack mounts span the entire depth of the chamber, making it slightly easier to pull partially out and mop.
Still not as good as a channel would be though.
I wonder where they're made. China's gonna put us all out of work the way things are going. Then who is gonna buy the ****?

I guess the key is to take 'em off the hooks before they fall off! If the ribs are that tender then they are technically overcooked -- I'm NOT saying they arent' good!! I like fall off the bone ribs too.
Roker used a hooks and a carousel with the smoker he used at Memphis in May (the special he did) -- I think it was a Traeger (but maybe not -- I don't remember) and is used pellets and the revolving meat hooks. He had at least one rack of ribs "break" when he removed it from the cooker.
Heck, try it and just put a shelf underneath to catch 'em if they fall!!

Stay Focused, Grasshopper. Mini Bd's :)
Most of these "accessories" are wire and rod -- shouldn't be too tough to fabricate -- especially in a welding class/shop. Arts and Crafts anyone?? :D

but has anyone found specs on all the accesories ?
i saw the smoker at wally world but they didnt have all the stuff with it
Specs? Don't need no stinking specs!
Specs in a welding class are like the Constitution in the hands of liberals -- mere guidelines and suggestions! :D
