I don't remember a roll call going for this one. Who else is going? I'm heading out a little early, so I can eat lobster and chowder... OK, so I can also buy my Harpoon reserves as well...

See you out there! Come and check out my new Red Weber that I am picking up on the way out there...

So what's the deal with steamer clams? I've heard alot about them. But this flatlander has never had the pleasure of eating them... I might be stopping by the lostah factory! If anyone is interested, I will have Italian beefs with me. I probably won't be eating them though...

Steamers in my NJ opinion are gross. I go for straight up clams, steamers aka pissers, the name is no good.

It will go nicely with the yellow Homer and the green Egg on my patio.... Glad I don't have to wax it, as it appears she used to do that... Cause it sure is shiny...

No, this sure isn't an automatic year like '07...

Plus... We can actually have fun at this contest on Friday and still not have to cook until Saturday.... Ahhh, my kind of contest... Plus, I just won't hang around with that ISS crew... Nothing but bad mojo for me down in that camp!!! Nothing but trouble for me....

I grew up in Illinois on the Mississippi River. Sorry to disagree with all the good people here in New England who love steamers, but they remind me too much of catfish bait.

Insane Swine BBQ will be at MGC, pulling in Friday afternoon. See you all there!

I'll bring a steamer pot. It's not huge, but big enough to cook maybe 6-8 lobsters, or 10 lbs. of steamers at a time.

I'll also grab a bushel of fresh-picked corn from the valley. If it aint the best you've ever had, the first round's on me.

How bout mussels? Anybody like mussels?

Are the Kennedy's gun shy?

At $4/lb. of course we're getting lobsters too.

Martin says he's bringing as many 4-dollar bills as he can get his hands on.

How's that chowder coming along? I'm bringing a bushel of fresh corn if you want to cut it from freshly-roasted ears.
