Barbeque Teams,

American Bass Anglers(ABA) would like to personally invite you and your team to participate in any of the 2009 American Bass Anglers Barbeque Cook-Offs Sponsored by Early Times Whisky. There are 5 fun events for 2009 that will be held in July, Sept and Nov.

ABA is operating the Cook-Offs in conjunction with Bassmaster Weekend Series Bass tournaments that we operate. Each location selected is on the lake and each at beautiful locations for a BBQ cook-off and are in high traffic areas. We believe is offers a lot to the local communities a BBQ cook-off, an outdoor show and the Bassmaster Weekend Series Bass tournament. This will also provide the opportunity for much more exposure for you Professional BBQ Professionals.

These events are set up for both Pro Teams and Backyard Teams and will have a 100% payback of all entry fees. These events will be a lot of fun but at the same time will have the highest standards for BBQ judging and competition. Debra Talley ABA’s Marketing director has run many BBQ challenges as well as festivals. Debra will be the site director and coordinator for each of these events. We know you may have questions and we encourage you to call us either toll free at 888-203-6222 or call Debra Talley direct at (256) 777-6045.

We have updated the website with the latest information to meet or exceed KCBS standards.

Just an FYI, we have been working with Tana Shupe who we requested to be ABA's KCBS Rep for the 2009 events.

If you want the latest information emailed to you, shoot me an email at dhagood@americanbassanglers.com and we will get the latest right out to you. IF you want a hard copy sent include your mailing address. Thanks for all the emails and comments we have been receiving.

This is great. I love that you've looked into sanctioning. We'll be looking to the Arkansas event as a potential add to the schedule.

Update on the Kuttawa, KY event. The community is doing an awesome job promoting and also creating a lot for the public to do at the August 22 event.

Check out their fliers they are putting out locally. http://www.ababbq.com/kuttawa_bbq_flier.pdf
