I looked back at my pit last spring when it was new and now almost a year later and there is a big difference. Luckily some of my very good friends own a very large body shop and will be repainting it and putting it in their baking booth to bake the paint on. So I always put them down as a sponsor for their help. Take lots of pictures now!

The folks at Jambo do a very nice job of building and finishing their pits.At the Royal I spent some time studying them and as a fabricator I have to say they do great work.

01-26-2009, 06:31 AM
Thanks everyone!

Real nice pit Chris.. I know you were waiting on that for a while.

It did take a while but only about 45 days beyond what Jamie originally quoted me. I really didn't care about timing, just wanted Jamie (and Big Mike) to do their thing. I gave them a couple specs on finishing color etc. but mostly just stayed out of their hair. They did great work and followed through perfectly on every detail. Can't wait to get cooking on her!

Trailer was painted in midnight blue... looks blue in the sun but almost black at night. The plate on the back is to for a sign - your team name or logo.
