View Full Version : All my clothes smell smokey

What's up fellas!?

Been so long since I've had a chance to post here I thought this was a good place to say hello.

Been working 6-7 days a week, 10-14 hours a day for the last year as a pitmaster and receiver at Wildwood BBQ here in NYC and they blocked the site on me about 5 months ago. If I'm not reading the brethren at work, what else am I supposed to do at work?

Any way, I hope everyone is doing great and I miss all of you. :cry:

You should tell corporate though that as a pitmaster you need access to this site for research purposes regarding the art of low and slow as well as to stay current on any reviews of the restaurant or others in the area.

I think I said it before somewhere but, cooking inside on the ole hickory pits makes a consistent and fine product, but does not compare to feeding cherry (right, K.C.?) wood into a Klose under the stars with a glass of bourbon in your hand.

Coming back and looking at all the delicious prOn and all the threads gets me a little closer to the sounds of cooking outside and the smells of the 'que that I love. Thanks!

Nope...I actually go in for a few hours on sundays to get ready for inventory and to cut orders....or add on, if needed. Trying to run food cost as tight as possible......not such an easy task. :shock:

I'd love to see you......let me know if you can ever get by.....
