We are doing a comp at Bass Pro Shop for a charity event and they want each team to have a game or something at their booth to raise money for the charity as well as raise money before the event. There are 40 teams with live bands and is also sponsered by ESPN, Disney, Embassy Suites and so on. We are at a loss for ideas. So... has anyone done something like this before or do you have any good ideas. They suggest a washers pit or a large crew sold frozen margaritas last year all going to the charity. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks

Sell pulled pork tacos, smoke an extra butt, make some cole slaw, throw on some cheese and sauce. Charge a few bucks and there you go. A little tex mex BBQ!

How about a putting green? You can go to a dollar store and buy bags of candy or something like that and charge people a buck to putt and they get a trinket if they make a hole in one.

Not bad and cheap also. I like it.

I raised funds by setting up a black jack table. Offer a "Free" hot dog with a $5.00 buy-in or "Free" pulled pork sandwich with a $10.00 buy-in. Each chip is worth $1. Whomever turns in the most chips at the end of the day (or given time) wins a family meal for 5. You can decide if you want to make the offer for more people or set what a meal includes.

You don't need a professional poker table. You should have a friend that owns one of those folding tables that opens up into a poker table.

Good luck.
