Minority or Vet owned have a good chance of getting money and having a good business plan in order is a must. I have an accountant that also wrights grants and knows who to get SBA loans and so my wife is know the owner of the business. This process and take up to a year for grant money and a few months for SBA loans. I used equity in my house to start up and am planning on paying back with grant/SBA loans along with buying new equipment.

I thought about that route, but opted to start small first and build over the course of 4 years. I only got a truck note now and insurance payments.
My grandparents passed a few years ago and left my siblings, uncles and aunts a little something. It was not much divided by seven, but it was they had to give us. I thought what better way to honor them by putting it to good use purchasing a rig. They would turn over in their graves if I abused it!
You never get through buying smaller supplies though.

I have a question for you catering folks. I want to buy a Cambro beverage dispenser. We do not have any big restaurant supply stores anywhere close by and the small place here wants an arm and a leg for everything. What online restaurant supply companies do you use and trust? I ordered something from InstaWares once and it took almost a year to get a refund from them after I'd paid for something that they neglected to tell me was out of stock and I decided to cancel my order.
Thanks!

You are welcome!
You also can go through a food distributor such as SYSCO if you have an account. I have also noticed them at Smart and Final.

I have been to Smart & Final and have determined that most of their restaurant supplies are on the expensive side of the margin. I found a local restaurant supply store that saved me a lot more $. Although, keep an I out for sales at S&F, because they do have some good deals.
Equippers has some great deals as well. That's where I got my chafers. Cost, including delivery, was cheaper than S&F.
