Astro-turf question?

We're doing our first comp on Saturday. I purchased some green outdoor carpet (10x20) from Lowes to go under our two EZ-UP canopies. The heat is suppose to be ungodly; my question.....will this stuff stick to the asphalt? I'm afraid this stuff is so cheap that when I peel it off the asphalt it will stick and break up. Thanks!

I use one of those astroturf like rugs that they sell at Camping World and have never had a problem lifting if off of asphalt...

Try also to go with a light color. that will help with it feeling cooler.

I've never had a problem, but I'm up north so it's usually not that hot anyway.

We have used it for camping a lot and never had a problem with it on the asphalt. I would think it would have to get really freakin hot to melt it and if it is under the easy up it will be shaded so that would help also.
