We had my pops down for the weekend to do some flounder fishing and to just hang out.i put a 12.5 lb packer on the drum this morning rubbed with some old no.2 texas BBQ rub,smoke with apple and a little red oak.

What a great day!
I lost my dad 17 years ago and miss him awfully, so I'm always glad to see folks enjoying spending quality time with their's!

Nope,didn't smoke any of the fish,pop kept saying he was hungry(to many beers mod) so we just fried it,had a little corn relish on the side with some onion rings and corn bread.It was big meal for lunch,but thats what he wanted.The ol' man never drinks unless he comes to our house,after this last get together,my wife said i was a bad influence on my pop! LOL!!...who me?:rolleyes:
