I have finally got around to putting a UDS together and have a word of advice to give anyone else working on one. ......LET THE WIFE KNOW WHAT IT IS. Here is what happened. We have a rubbermaid trash can on the patio that we put the trash bags in from the house and then take that can out to the dumpster when it gets full. Well I guess she thought I had upgraded to a nice heavy duty metal trash can. I went out to tinker with my drum today and this is what I found.

Yup, you've got be on guard all the time.

I might also suggest you make sure you have not dropped your glasses into the drum just before you burn it out.

Very good advice! Always keep the lids on the Drums, at home AND at Comps!
