Is Critter Rub the new beef rub?

Yes. They entered it into the Mild category instead of the Hot. They also didn't get Yardbird Rub into the Hot category even though I paid for it.

Maybe I'm splittin hairs, but are dairy cattle considered beef ... or at least good beef? My assumption is that it's tough due to the age of the animal. How do daily cattle stack up on fat vs. say Angus or other favored breeds for slaughter?

That Holstein/Guernsey beef sure does have me back in line for a second sandwich and I have this sudden craving for a good glass of milk rather then a beer.

Let's get some focus groups as well as qualitive and quantitive research to see if a dairy term helps or hurts product perception and sales.

All kidding aside, I like the name and I think your demographic is smart enough to udderstand it.

I like the name too. Hey, as an official Beta tester of the original Yardbird Rub, I haven't gotten my sample of your new rub to evaluate.:wink:

The "Critter Rub" is great :!: I used it on a pork butt, country style boneless ribs, St. Louis spares and a 4 inch thick chunk of rib eye. It was just about perfect on the rib eye & butt. For the spares & country styles it added a little bite that was missing before.
I'm going to have to do some serious testing of this here stuff . So far I've used almost 3/4 of a jar - gotta get some more .
