After burning out your UDS do you need to sand or scrape the inside or just season the inside?

Give it a good scrape and see where how that looks. Burned in soot is no big deal, but if you have little chunks or bits of liner or such, I'd sand it out.

How loose is it. You can get a piece of threaded rod and double nut capture one of these... and use a drill. That way you don't have to breathe it.
