As many of you know I have been selling my rubs and sauces out at the swap meet in Mesa AZ. As part of this I have been treated to several horrible BBQ stories from people who stop by and talk with me. This one was so good I had to share it!

A lady stopped by my booth and told me she had the best way to make BBQ ribs. She says that she marinades the ribs for over 10 hours in liquid smoke and then cooks them in the oven. Wow! Can you imagine the flavor of those ribs?

Just thought I would share that one with you guys!!

With KCBS having a gas event last year, and if so, there will probably be more in the future.... So, that is a plan to get some good smoke flavor into the butts, briskets, etc.... soak them overnight, cook at high temps... and turn in for 1st place... she may be on to something...

You at the Signal Butte/Baseline swap meet? Where at..I live just around the corner. I'd like to come over to see the set-up and buy some rub. I bought what the Guadalupe Farmers Market Too had left for rub. They are out now. Sent one to smoke_in_my_I's in the last sauce/rub trade.
