Brothers today I recieved a package on my door from Bill Arnold and the folks at Blues Hog. Not only did my package arrive in time there was a christmas treat inside for me. Here is the email that I sent to him, I wanted to share it publically with you here. Don't hesitate for a second to deal with Mr. Arnold and the folks at Blues Hog, they went the extra mile to take care of me and my personal needs which are so small on the large scale they do business on.

Mr. Arnold,

I want to personally and publically thank you for you attention to my order. It arrived today in time for me to use at my catering event. Not only did it arrive in plenty of time I was surprised to find a little extra in my box! The 5 miniature bottles of your different sauce really surprised me. There were flavors of sauce in there I didn't even know you had, I really look forward to trying them. Thank you again for taking care of this and the extra mile you went with the extra sauce.

Merry Christmas

-Matt Pair

Yes you do!

We tried the raspberry chilpoltle sauce last night on some chicken legs. Man was it good! You gotta try it, should go well with pork tenderloin or as dressing on a grilled chicken salad.

If I may ask, What were the 5 flavors?

I know there is the original, and the ? Tennessee Red, but what else?

Sounds like great personal attention to orders.

I like that.

Bill sent me the following: (I tried a couple of them)

Original
Tenn. Red
Honey Mustard- tried this one, very good mustard sauce for chicken or pulled pork.
Raspberry Chilpoltle- Amazing on chicken we really liked this one
Candy Mountain- a little too sweet for my taste

I ordered a bottle of their gourmet finishing sauce and a pound of their rub.

I use their rub a good bit with my pulled pork. Funny I use a differnt rub on the outside of the meat, but use the BH Rub in my injection and I sprinkle some of it on the finished pulled pork and mix it in real well.

I have not tried the 'finishing' sauce yet. Figure it will be great on ribs (thats what I use their original sauce for).

I have met Bill and cooked with him at the Liberty Bell BBQ contest in 2002. Bill is a fantastic guy and would help anyone out in a pinch. He helped me raise my bar on how to cook good Q.
