Found an old sausage stuffer on craigslist yesterday. It's in fantastic condition with only some minor rust on the juice strainer sleeve. I did a search and found they are still being manufactured in the USA and replacement parts are still available. When I saw the prices for a new model I almost chit!
It is an Enterprise No. 25 Sausage stuffer, Fruit juicer and Lard press

I googled it and got a few hits of others across the county on craigslist and thought it might be of interest to others. This blog kind of stood out and the putzer in me was inspired by it.

Anyone else out there using an Enterprise or Chop-Rite?

Enterprise is a well known and respected brand for sausage stuffers. Nice find.

Three of my buddies have those. One is completely restored with a fancy paint job and it is for show only. The other two use theirs all the time.

My beautiful wife bought me an electric grinder/stuffer a few years ago.
It works great, but I have always been intrigued by the old hand cranked stuffers.
Let us know how it works for you.

Looks like the outage removed the "other" old sausage stuffer pics... Good score partner!

just used one identical to that this afternoon making some rings of pork bologna. My neighbor is a retired butcher and has kind of taken me under his wing and teaching me some bologna and sausage secrets,, its been fun and tastey.. Did 22 rings of the pork bologna,, smoked with maple.
