Man I was just hearing on the Bob & Tom radio show about bacon candy bars (yes chocolate and bacon) and now this. You are all on the cutting edge of foodology. Well answer Arlin, how did they taste?

Why listen to it, when you can see it?

Well, it didn't taste like chocolate and bacon. I think we used the wrong rub on it. The flavor profile didn't tingle our taste buds quite like we anticipated.

It wasn't as sick as one would think. What amazed (scared) me was that after 90 minutes at 225 degrees the creme filling hadn't even begun to ooze. What's up with that stuff?

Creme filling aka Chalk dust.

I never liked that chit.

Sit there with a knife peeling them off.

Fark double stuffs, I would stand in line to buy "No Stuffs"

Glad you had a good weekend Larry

Great pics Larry! The OBT was, well different. I couldn't taste the chocolate at all. I could get the mouth feel from the "creme", but not too much flavor. I'm thinking next time, that's right next time, I would try two Oreos and use a spicier rub. Overall it tasted like bacon and bacon is delicious. :icon_wink
