Airport, that is. I'll be there about 2 1/2 hours this Sunday, as my wife and I and 30 other people wing our way to Frankfurt, Munich, and Salzburg for 11 days. I am SO stoked.

Wine, schnitzel, appelwein, BEER... I haven't been to the real Oktoberfest in 20 years and mama hasn't been to Germany at all.

If you can imagine a 42-pax bus with beer, wine, and 32 partyers on board, you're getting close.

I am not going to look for BBQ but if I see a joint I'll try and run in for some pics and a quick taste!

Be good, brothers and sisters.

Although the Oxygenated Water at Plane Delicious is the Bomb

Gourmet sandwiches with specialty sauces "to go", along with Oxygenated water and sumptious desserts.

Concourse A - Gate Centerpoint (javascript:MM_openBrWindow('../terminal/map_zoom.htm','popup2','status=yes,resizable=yes,w idth=784,height=398'))

Can't help you with the food at the airport.

Germany is one place I'd like to see before I kill over. Take a couple of pics for us!

I've got enough digital memory to shoot about 800 at 3.2 megapixels. That SHOULD be enough...

They can draw a decent Guiness in Atlanta. I've never had time for more. If you explain up front that you want it drawn right they'll take the time, or did for me. On the other hand, you would have to beat a lot of your traveling companions to the bar!

I used to go thru ATL several (actually, way too many) times per month.
My info is out of date, but try:
..............................
Entry level:

Several steps up are:

.................

All of that is sub-standard, mass produced crap, and over-priced!

I am busy that day, or I would bring ya some edible food and we could meet in the parking lot!

Have a great time in Germany!
Great eats there!

Thanks, Tim. The links all went to the same page, but I did see there is a Sam Adams brewery there. If I can't get good Q (or ANY Q) I can lube up at SA!

Arlin-Arlin-Arlin,

You asked about "Q"

Drinking joints---lots of good to great brew flowing in almost every concourse if you have the $$$$$$.
Several have good finger-food snacks for the right $$.

Have fun!

Think there's a Harlon's BBQ in one of the Houston Airports, Hobby or International.
