Hey guys, have any of the brethren used Kingsford charwood. It says it is 100% natural. Any info on burn time ect.:icon_shy

It spits and pops alot.. i didnt care for it.. damn near put an eye out ..

I have used it and I agree with the spitting and poping I didn't really care much for it. I didn't think that it lit near as fast as a good lump should either.

I have 4 bags I would give you for free if you were in St. Louis.
The stuff is like one of those fireworks fountains. Pass on it, stick with the Regular K.

Agree. tried to get some of thet "real" hardwood flavor. Think they're trying to clean the charhouse.

I had a spitting and poping problem with royal oak in New Holland 07. is it because of the humidity?

It does spit and pop while it gets going, but I think it works good in my Bandera. Once I get it going with my propane torch and put out the small fires that are on my arms, it burns nice and fairly long. One Spicewine basket full of medium sized chunks will last about 5 or 6 hours. But the last hour or so is usually about 25-50 degrees cooler than the first 4 or 5 hours.
