Hope everyone had a great fathers day!
I really did.

I think my kids really know me.
My son (he is 20) got me a 17.5 MILLION candlepower portable flashlight! That thing looks like something from blade runner! It is huge and man what a light. Do I need it, Hell no, but man is it cool. Those are the best gifts!

My daughter (she is 16) got me a new book, "Extreme Barbecue" -Smoking rigs and real good recipes. By Dan Huntley and Lisa Grace Lednicer.

That book is great. Everyone needs a copy. If you read long enough you will fine someone in there just like yourself!

I opened the fridge this morning to a Fathers Day card taped to a filet mignon.

Not sure if that was for me or them though. :) no matter... had wings tonight, and we know whats for eatin this week.. some grilled mushrooms, and onions.... a little bernaise... and an ice cold becks.

She told me it came from Barnes & Noble. It has a 2007 copyright so it is hot off the press. I am 3/4 thru it. Really good reading and good ideas!
