Hey boys, just finished catering my grand parents 60th anniversary party. It went great, Tri-tips and teriyaki chicken, garlic mashed taters, green salad garlic buttered mushrooms , fresh rolls and butter and italian pasta salad for 150 people. I bought a 5ft long bed flat charcoal grill for $300 bucks at Smart and final, I have to say works great and gave us no problems. The cooking grate is adjustable and raises 4 levels up and down, it is easy to reload my mesquite and works better then the $1000 dollar Weber ranch kettle I bought:mad: Anyway I will post pics this week. Thanks to all the bretheren who gave me advice on catering this party, I really appreciate it. I am glad I have a place to go where I can get information from experienced bbq caterers:-D :-D

Thanks again Boys

Do not buy that one for catering parties, (h that's right you don't cater)

No I don't. I do it strictly for the love of real BBQ.

Real bbq is not grilling

Don't make me go to your house and challenge you to a real BBQ Throwdown! You'd probably do ribs in an oven Bobby Flay style!

J/k, I know you know your stuff but we may have to do a throwdown so you can find out what the real deal is all about.
