We had a great time - Arlie and Jim put on a heck of an event. A little breeze to quell the 94 deg. humid air would have helped, but hey - it's June in Iowa!

I didn't like the firebox on the CTO... The wood box needs to be re-worked, compared to thier bigger units. But you can't fault the ease of use. They had a smokin'deal on buying them after the contest as well. I think I saw 4 folks leaving with the ones they used.

It was great seeing the calls - and watching Johnny and Randy - We were happy with our 3rd in Brisket. I knew some of our other entries were not up to snuff. Rick's Brisket recipe turned out better than I had ever tasted. He thought it was his best ever.
