I know you all have the answer for this. I don't want to compete but I would like to start going to different comps and enjoying the events. I wouldn't want to drive more than 3 or four hours to any one event. Is there a list I can get a hold of.

www.kcbs.us "Contests" is on the upper banner, then check out the calendar.

Thanks Brother, several of these are very reachable. Just look for the guy who seems like a kid lost in a candy store. Chances are that will be me.

You could go the the www.barbecuenews.com (http://www.barbecuenews.com). Thats the web site for the National Barbecue News. If you ever make a trip out to Texas you can check out cookoffs at our web site at www.tgcbca.org (http://www.tgcbca.org). Food Network filmed a segment at the Humble Rodeo Cookoff this year, and it will air Monday. It is part of the Secert Life Of series.
