I am going to Dayton, Ohio for business in a couple of weeks. There is a BBQ place near the hotel, Old Hickory BBQ. Any locals know if a dinner there is worth the time or is there somewhere else that would be better.

I have never eaten there but my BIL says he thinks it's good, but then again, he's not had much in the way of "good Q" either.

I live in the area. Old Hickory has decent ribs, but City BBQ in Centerville is better overall, and pretty easy to get to. Smokin' is good, and it's on the edge of downtown at 5th and Jefferson. I'd pick either of these over Old Hickory.
