Happy Memorial Day everybody

Pork butt seems to be the cut of choice this weekend. I figured why break a good trend. I fired up the ECB this morning. I have not had the time to do the mods I wanted, so it looks like another turbo cook for me. It seems to be happy cooking at 320* :shock: Unfortunately I think I killed my smoker temp probe. It dropped off the grate and within a couple inches of the coals. My Maverick started reading HHH for the smoker temp. :lol: There is also an air leak at the bottom (pic 2). I guess I will need to seal that as a mod. :?

I'm all smoked out this week. I did almost 150lbs of meat last week and my other half has threatened mutiny if she has to see one more pork butt, brisket or rib she's going to for us to have a vegetarian week.

What she doesn't know is I have 2 slabs aging in the meat frig now....

Turbo pulled pork was another success. The wife says I'm not allowed to mod the ECB to cook slower :roll: I guess I need to buy another one :shock::biggrin:
