I read your post and you guy's alway's talking about Academy, So I am out this morning catching some call out's and decide to stop in and check out.
Went to the bbq section(da*n) I wanted most of what I seen. Stoping in could have been a costly mistake, the only thing that saved me was I left the house with just the cash I had in my pocket. Left checkcard laying by computer. I spent 55.00 of the 60.00 I had though.
2 cubic ft of hickory,3 bags of apple chip,2 bags of pecan, One 14 qt. dutch oven only24.83 every day pre seasone,.20 # of old K. And a list of things I got to have next trip.
This is now going to be one of my new hangout's.

This on here still new to area, the woods they had in the 2c' size was hickory,mesquite,and pecan,9.83 bag. But anything and everything to do wit que I think was there. Prices seem to be very fare.

The one here in Shreveport stays packed. The only problem with ours is they can't keep enough supply of wood because so many people around here bbq. Prices are reasonable and anything the back yard bbq'er needs they usually have. Great place.

i was at the one in Irving(?) today. saw a used NB hondo for 140 bucks. gotta say it doesnt hold a candle to the old girl i left at home in KC. i have been gone for almost a month now and the urge to smoke something is overwhelming. i am fighting the urge to buy a WSM to take on the road with me. I've done it many times. Offer up a taste and you'll most likely have an evening guest for the rest of your stay. But that's up here on the prairie. YMMV.
