Since we can't get into Harpoon this year, I found the Chesapeake Bay BBQ in July. Has anybody cooked this contest last year? Any feed back? IS it worth the hefty entry fee and worth $3.00 plus a gallon ride from Rhode Island. I sure want to cook it, so please don't talk me out of it (unless).

I cooked at this event last year which was the first year. The payout was only $300 GC & 150 RC. This year it's much better $1,500 GC. There were only 19 teams last year, but I think they are expecting a lot more this year. They really tried hard to please the cooks. I will be there again this year.
