New Yorkers,

I'll be back in Manhattan Feb 7-9. The evening of Feb 8 is open if anyone wants to get together again. If anyone wants me to bring sauce or rub again, let me know. I'll have my own rub available by then, too. But I don't want to get together just to be a BBQ Sauce Pimp. :icon_blush:

Clint, I'll bring that table for your recliner chair if you want it.

Todd

EDIT:

Matt,

I'll be bringing the product for your Grillin On The Bay contest. Let's try to get hooked up one of those days.

Todd

We were by there in November. I remember seeing it in Times Square. Every guy on the sidewalk was rubber necking.

Sounds good to me!!

Oops, wife was just looking over my shoulder when I went to that link. Asked me why I thought I needed to go there. Ummmmmm... they have good food? :icon_blush:

Must just be a database of keyword coded videos. Ask him to watch TV two times in a row.

table thing?

It's a little table PB found for an "anti-gravity" chair. Note, mine holds beer, not iced tea. They say it's "a must for every recliner owner."

BigBarry

It is scripted - uses keywords and loops. Ingenious. tested about 10 things. Broad database of commands pre-taped.

why do they call them anti gravitY?

The chair was invented by Charles P. Goulin, inventor of the broadly popular anti-gravity boots from the early 80s. While weightlessness isn't actually achieved with the chair, the user may experience a similar relaxed muscular sensation, as he/she lies in an nearly perpendicular state above the ground.

Either that or Vinny told me that's what they're called.

Guys, how about doing Willie B's on Feb 8? I'd like to get out of Manhattan for once and I need to experience the legand that is Willie B's. Does that work for you? For Matt and others that live in other buroughs, is that going to work?

Maybe hit one of the local bars afterwards.

Gotta semi-serious cold but no fever.
Sorry we will miss you this time Todd.
Feel better soon.
Maybe a cold one or two, after we see Willie B's Award Winning BBQ (see today's Joan Reminick in Newsday) will help speed up the recovery.

We'll have to hook up for lunch sometime. Ever been to Texas Rotisserie down there? Can't remember the address, but it was pretty good the one time I got take out from there.

I stay at 15 Gold Street at the Holiday Inn Wall Street when I'm in town. Just on the other side of Chase Plaza. Know the area well. Its a ghost town at night.

Never been to Texas Rotisserie, sometime the guys here get take out from Dallas BBQ... not bad.... not as good as home made.

I ussually stay east of Nassau for lunch, Toastie's on John street is good for sandwiches. Or there's always Sandra's hotdog wagon.

You're right about it being a ghost town at night, we went to the nassau bar one friday night and they kicked us out at midnight, they were closing.
