Brethren ventures is a new set of forums. Experimental, within our For Sales.
Its a way for us to give back to members who have given a significant contribution to the group. It is designed for members who have THEIR OWN PRODUCTS to sell. Not for Resellers.
Based on tenure and quality of postings these members have proven they are not here just to sell their stuff. With this, we now offer the opportunity to use our forum to offer their products to our members, for members to assist in their growth, post testimonials, ask questions and review the products.
If you are a member with your own product and some significant tenure, lets say a minimum of 18 months, your posts quality and count will be looked at. Your product must be directly BBQ related and be your own. Then you can be considered for the ventures forum. Please dont send in any requests if you are not here 18 months or better. Not to sound harsh, but the answer is no, and you will not recieve a response.
All requests will be brought to the attention of a board of senior members(purple or green names). It is this board and not me that will make the final call on who will and will not be allow to be included into this section. We will limit new forums to 2 per quarter."
I would like to note.. This is for VENTURES.. Your business, not just hawking your product. For example, its is for feedback on websites, help on startup, licensings, ideas for promotion, reviews, testimonials, etc.. It is us HELPING you.. It is not intended to just hawk your stuff, but to help u grow. If you only want to sell a product, that place is in the GENERAL FOR SALE forum.
This is an experiment, and a work in progress so things may change on the fly. We don't expect a huge amount of traffic, but if it helps our members in their endeavors, we will consider it a success.
Again, this is an experiment. We are building our baselines as we go. So, when you exit this thread, look in our "for Sale" forum, u will see the ventures forum and who we have started with. This is just our way to maybe give something back to them for being with us for so long. Thanks guys. !
BTW.....they are *** ON TOPIC *** forums.
