I'm a rookie backyarder who loves to cook meat for some reason. Must be the male jeans, haha get it. Anyways I'm overseas military from ST David Arizona and I just got given a Brinkman's pitmaster deluxe and a Fiesta Avantis grill. Now I have a smoker and a 4th propane grill. I also have a fire and ice for the short overnight camping trips that I never go on. Just in case right?
I'm looking for a few pointers on good books and stuff. My neighbor, Nick, is always smoking something and has meats are the best. Top rate compared to my wimpy chicken and steaks. I'll be spending more time in the back yard with my new toys. Even in the winter time, I'll still fry. Bought a indoor george foreman for those too rainy/cold days.

Welcome aboard, minijosh!!

How's Moldyhole these days???

We've kicked around the "What's your favorite book?" question a few times so a quick search might hook you up faster than waiting for everyone to write back. "Smoke & Spice" is my fave, mainly because it got me started, but there are a ton out there.

Good luck and welcome!

Welcome aboard Minijosh.. I'm still a newbe here on the Brethren.
where are you stationed now?? Remember you can't rush good BBQ..
You don't have to worry about weather in Arizonia.. Try smokin' with a
Brinkman water smoker in January in new england... I have had my wings that
I do in four or so hours take me 12hrs to get smoked right.. But they were
some good wings.. What do you want to know?? Just don't be coming to
new england and kick our asses

I'm stationed at RAF Mildenhall for at least one more year. I've been here 5. Mildenhall is nice atm but I'm so ready for a change. I need some better weather and the 4th of July over here sucks. The british don't understand it hehe.
