A big congrats to Greg (Paola Greg) and Eric (Ole'e) (Ribs 4 U) for their 3rd place finish, 1st in ribs and calls in chicken and pork - that is awesome!! You guys are sooooo close.

Thank you all. Mark is a great competitor. It was an honor to be on stage with him. He was a great sport, probably better than I would have been considering he missed Grand by 5 ten thousandth of a point (.0005).

It was a big shock also. Mark and Greg each had three calls, and we only had one. To make it worse, they called out the top ten overall. When we didn't hear our names in to bottom five, we were sure we hand tanked one or two categories. Imagine our surprise to be called for GC. Wow, that was a weird, wild feeling.

Chris, we have eight wins, but the GAB Invitational and BBQlossal don't count. So, we have six towards the lucky seven for the Jack. Three weeks to go. We're going to give it our best.

Thnx again everyone. Oh, we cooked on pellets this time. Sticks this weekend in Dillon, CO. See you all on the bbq trail.

We have two 50/50's. We'll be in the hat with the teams that win Bel Air for MD, and New Paltz for NY.
