Hello fellow smoke-a-philiacs!
Just call me boonie, everyone else does. Lets see what can I tell ya, first and foremost I am a family man and a man of God, and I leave all the judging to him. Second I am neither a republican or a democratic, I am simply a constitutionalist and believe very strongly about personal freedom. I have ZERO tolerance for racism or calling everything racist, I take people one at a time and base my opinion of them solely on their actions.
My hobbies include but are not limited to: Gardening, raising my own meat, tending my farm (yup country boy), horse back riding, hunting, fishing, camping, 4wheeling and offroading my big ugly suburban, building and shooting firearms, and I am a survivalist/prepper (don't worry I use the tinfoil for the Q only!). I'm also working on, with my 2 boys, getting my ham radio licence this july.
Currently I cut firewood full time but preparation for major foot sugery that's slowed way down this season. I am currently planning to go back to schoot for machining and welding this fall.
I have been cookng with smoke all my life in one form or another but this summer with the time I will have on my hands I'm going into yoda mode and plan of building a large smoker and prefecting my Q foo. I would like to get all my recipes zeroed in an make a cook book I can pass to my children and god willing my grandchildren.
To be quite honest I joined for one reason: The Fatty, never herd of that bit of heart stopping goodness so when i saw it, it baited me in. Now that I'm hear tho i see there is much to learn...

Your new brother if yall will have me,

Ps, yea my spellifacation is well, lacking. But hay I try...

Thanks for the warm welcome yall!

Cowgirl, nice horse in you avatar, I just picked this lil guy up an houre and a half ago! He's an 11 year old gruella gelding and he stands 14.2 hands tall. I got him for an elk shed huntin horse for my wife. He's short but damn stout so I think he'll do a good job, specially once I get a little more meat on them ribs of his!
