Hi All,
Long time gasser, recent charcoal convert living in Lost Angeles.
I'm starting with a Weber OTG & Weber JJ. I'm also a designer/compulsive inventor (it's like tourettes, I really can't help it) I've been doing tons of research and I've already started designing my custom smoker/grill combo in CAD so I'll have lots of materials, construction, & theory questions. Is there a forum for custom builds?
I've got my buddy's fab shop lined up (full of long time Q fans) but I need to make sure my ideas & designs are high & tight before I pull the trigger so I'm here as a noob who's looking to learn and I'm grateful you guys are here! Looking forward to learning from the pros/fanatics and making new friends.
