Finally got home with the new rig. 28 ft catering and vending trailer from Trailer Innovations in Des Moines IA. cant say enough good things about Troy and the crew. Very good attention to detail and designs things that are functional and work. Every thing is built very solid. Weighs in at a little over 11000 lbs as shown.

Both are Humphreys smokers. Large one is the BAS and not as large is the cubed beast.

Now you need a new truck! That thing is killer! That's lineoleum floor in the kitchen, not tile, right? Unbelievable.

Yeah its the thickest linoleum I could find. Single piece. Durable stuff. I have the same stuff in my laundry room. Excursion is getting a weight distribution hitch and f450 rear springs. Then it should handle it better.

I actually like linoleum or sheet goods best for kitchens - cleans up the best.
Do people know how much bacteria is growing in the cracks of their wood/Pergo/grout lines of their floors? That trailer is one bastige.

The weight distribution equipment is really needed when you get to a few thousand lbs but still under the tow rating of the truck. The max tow rating will take into account that you already have it. If you are 2-4,000 over the max rating with the trailer bone dry, how much will you be over loaded with food and supplies? Plus, towing a trailer 2-3000 over weight is one thing, a very bad thing, but towing one that long as well is something else, an even worse thing. You aren't just risking your life and your equipment there, just sayin'.

Great looking trailer though!

Yes currently it is over the max capacity of the Excursion. Thats why we are going to upgrade the springs for greater load capacity. Excursions has really light springs for ride purposes. Trailer is mainly for local use. I do have 2 other f350s if I feel that excursion isnt up for it.

Exact reason for single piece of floorings vs multiple tiles. Way easier to clean.

What are you guys using to store rubs and utensils and such in the trailer? Thinking about getting a bunch of totes and putting under the counter with different items in each. Any other suggestions?

Put a cot in there and make regular grocery deliveries and I'd probably never leave! You say catering trailer, I say mobile lab. :-D
