I am thinking to add battery inside the Junior.
4 pieces of Li-ion 18650 batteries.
It is good enough to work for a medium size smoker for 10+ hours
It is not allowed to send battery overseas by air linar.
You have to buy battery 18650 and put it inside the Junior
Fortunately you can buy this 18650 battery from eBay and its is cheaper.
You do not need to buy the charger.
The Junior will have an AC/DC adapter.
It will charge the battery if necessary.
If you have AC power, it will use AC power and charge the battery.
If no AC power, the battery will work automatically

Question is that how many of you guys are willing to pay for extra $20 for this built-in battery option

(sorry I can not edit title of a typing error of BBQ)

I think this would be a great option. Sometimes at comps there are electric issues and this would cover that if power goes out overnight. Can this be added to the Q MAster Senior?

I will try Junior first.
If people like it, I will add battery in Senior too

Indeed you can use a movable power bank
But It is not easy to find a right voltage of 12 VDC
Also you need a charger.
Even worse you may forget to bring your power bank or charger or charging the battery in full.
By built-in battery, you do not need extra charger.
You will never forget to bring battery with you
As long as there is AC, the battery will be recharged in full to standby
