Cooked ribs on my Humphreys BB'cube at Fire on Ice on Mille Lacs Lake over the weekend. Pulled an 8th place ribs on a day that saw the high temp reach around -10. First contest cooking spares as well so Im still not set on a process

Pulled a 3rd overall as well when the dust settled. If you've never cooked on a humphreys, you wont understand how even the heat is in the cookers. No temperature variation side to side means no burnt up end ribs or edges to your meats. Not to dis wsm style cookers, but when you have to throw away the end couple ribs on each rack because they are burnt to a crisp, that can really bit you in the end. I had a bad cut and had to shift the 4 ribs I wanted farther down the rack with no issues thanks to the Cube.

Great contest glad you did well.
It was farkin cold! Last year there were more people visible on the ice (slightly warmer), but more contestants this year.
I was inside judging well run contest from that perspective and the final category of anything alcohol brings another layer of warmth

you can....
Fish and drink
BBQ and drink
