anyone know who owns this pit

It is a crazy way to try to operate a business. I cannot imagine he will find anyone that will provide what he wants.

Amazing..............
I would drag the firebox when I hook it up.

I had been thinking it was a great looking pit, but your right that box is way to low. You would bang that thing constantly just going in and out of driveways.

It's a Lang 84.

Yup, Ray is correct. I have a Lang 84 Deluxe and it happens to trailer very nicely. The firebox is not a problem. The pit is very stable under tow. It is a stick burner with a reverse flow design that wants to cook between 230 and 250.

Guy said it! However, the smoker is a little longer than 12', as my little Mobil 60 is almost 14' long. Also, around the corner from where I work is a gas station who lets a guy cook there on the weekends. He has about 3 Chargrillers, a little utility trailer (which stays there all week), a folding table, and one of those 10x20 canopies. There is no way that this guy is legit, but he does a booming business. Actually, he is quite inspiring.

I have never had the fire box on my 84 hit anything but 500 degress when I am cranking her up!!!!!!!! She pulls like a dream and honestly, once at 80, keeping up with traffic, I could not tell she was back there. (I usually drive 55, with or without my smoker).
PARTY!!!!
Smoke On!!!!!
P.S. I know of a guy up here in MN that does the same thing in an empty lot beside a gas station and from the traffic I see there and from talking to him and seeing how much Q he always has on his smoker and guessing I'll bet he is doing 3,000 in sales on a weekend.

Sorry for posting the same pics again:oops: , but if you look closely, you will see that there is plenty of clearance between the fire box and the ground. I have backed over curbs, and not even come close to having contact. I think that the picture used by that guy is a little misleading.
The guy on Craig's list is looking for a place to call his commissary. He actually needs space to include his three compartment sink, too.

It was the way he worded his listing that throws me off. It seems like he is looking for a garage for his stuff and to cook in the driveway not a sanitary cooking environment.

I have on a couple of occasions set up at a corner gas station and sold ribs. It was a great match. Beer and BBQ!

The firebox does look very low. Maybe it's just the picture.
The firebox on the craigslist cooker. Not Noah's.
