Here’s the Link for Gruene Hall 25 min north of SA. It’s a great place to see music and there are a few great bands in early June.

Here is the link to the John T. Floore Country Store in Helotes 25 n of SA in the other direction.
Again world class act coming through all the time.

http://www.mysanantonio.com/ Here is another good source for music but they only have listings up to June 1st so you will have to check back later in the week.

Here is the link to some BBQ joints. There is also Rudy’s (Several Locations) and I’ve been hearing about the Blue Cactus Café out on Wetmore Road, but it’s kind of out of the way for a vistor and I've never eaten there.

If you stick with downtown there is no Q but lots of other good food. I always enjoy a few pints at "Dirty Nellys" on the river under the Hilton Placio Del Rio. Great Irish pub.

Lots of Tex Mex depending on how far you want to walk or ride the trolly.

Lots of fine dining too. If you like that I have a few favorites.

Music, BBQ, and Mexican Food. Thats all ya need in SA.

Here is a link started by Stan a while back when he was working more here in town. It has a bunch of stuff on it.

10-4 Arlin your 100% correct , I always think of it as a given. Seems everyone already knows about NB when they get here so I never think to suggest it. O Well. Schelitterbahn and the Comal River are the ticket there. Just around the corner in Gruene are a few nice resturants and antique shops too.

Floore's and Gruene Hall are both outstanding! More than once I've spent a lazy Sunday afternoon in Gruene Hall sipping on a longneck or two. Beautiful country, and probably less than 100 yds. to the river.
