Hi all.
I now live in the Pacific NW (from TX/LA via KC Missouri). I would like to know what types of meats actually are prefered up here in this area? I see the WHOLE gambit around here but what actually sells and what is in demand? Brisket? Chopped Brisket? Beef ribs? Pulled Pork? Chicken? Pork ribs?...

There are a few of the commercial "chains" up here ( NOT a big fan of chains)... not up to my taste IMHO. And even fewer mom n pop places.

If anyone here is from the PNW... what do folks like up here?

Welcome to the Northwest. Just about everything goes up here including salmon & steelhead. There are some real hard core foodies in the area.

Where are you at?

Don't worry what people want. If you cook a great brisket but nobody orders it are you going to stop cooking brisket?

Educate your consumers to what real bbq is and they'll be your customers for life!
