View Full Version : Obsessed In Louisiana

I'm in my late 20's and hesitantly graduated to a Kamado Joe this August. I've been using $60 Ole Smokeys since dad taught me how to grill years ago. It took a lot of nerve to spend that much money but my only regret is not getting the Big Joe!

My new investment seeded a new obsession. Butts, briskets, ribs, chicken, meatloaves, burgers, veggies all came in a frenzy in my first couple of months with this ceramic cooker. I would have never dreamed of smoking a hunk of meat while I sleep but it's become second nature SO quickly.

Now I just got a CyberQ Wifi and it's even easier. I can put dinner on at 5:30AM and cook it from work.

I'm here for recipes, advice, etc...just to learn. I won't post much. The less talking I do the more I'll learn.

Thanks for the education thus far and in the future.
