Hello All-I currently have a Char-Griller offset, 2 Brinkman style smokers and a Smoke Hollow propane vertical.

I have a couple big parties at the house each year and I end up needing them all so I am looking to upgrade to either a Pitmaker Vault or a Backwoods Competitor.

I can get the competitor locally and have to have the Vault shipped. the price with shipping workes out to about the same as the local unit with state tax added.

I'm open to any opinions

Bob

Welcome to the site! I don't own one but a Humphrey's smoker might work for you. There are made in Maine. There are many many brothers on the site who really like them.
